PCE Molding Compound

Two-part room temperature vulcanizing silicone molding putties. Mix equal parts of the base and the catalyst together for 20-30 seconds, until the color is uniform. Form into flattish lump and press the object to be molded into the mold and let it sit. Completed mold is flexible and no release is necessary with most media. The red has a longer "set-up" time than the yellow. Both are resistant to heat and repeated curings in the oven, so that you can fill your mold with clay or liquid clay and cure it right in the mold. Can also be filled with melted embossing powder or hot glue to cool in mold. Quantities greater than one pound, please call for pricing and availability.

Protoplast Thermoplastic Molding Products
Texture and Mold Material Pour some of the pellets into a heatproof cup and either cover them with 160º water or put the cup into the microwave for 1-2 minutes. You don't want it to boil, but the water does feel uncomfortably hot. It only takes about half a minute to melt the pellets into a clear mass.	Pellets turn clear & stick together Remove the melted pellets from the hot water and knead them slightly as soon as you're able, to remove the excess water. Smooth the lump and press in the items with which you want to make molds or textures. (Use a release agent such as Armor All or cornstarch.)	Reusable, economical.
