You probably already know that mica powders are very versatile accessories when working with clay or stamping projects - stretch their capabilities even further by mixing your own custom watercolors from PearlEx, Powdered Pearls or Perfect Pearls. Very easy to do and the paints make gorgeous accents, especially on dark papers! ![]() Four parts pigment or mica powder to one part gum arabic. |
![]() Mix the dry gum arabic and pigment in one of the wells of the palette. |
![]() Add a few drops of water and mix - adding water as necessary. |
![]() Let stand for a day or two to dry or dehydrate in convection oven. |
![]() Wet a brush with water and pick up color from the palette. |
![]() Apply to paper, building up the color to the desired intensity. |
